THE PIECE: This juniper taxidermy display stand is made from twisted juniper with a blue pine base. The white wood is sanded to a 220 finish, the dark wood is sand blasted. All the end of the limbs are shaped and sanded. The top is leveled to allow for easy mounting. to complete the pedestal we put clear Seal-a-cell  oil on it to protect the wood.

THE WOOD: Our general area of focus is juniper . The type of twisted juniper that we work with are very hard to come by and take many hours to find and harvest. Finding these unique pieces allows us to create a truly one of a kind taxidermy pedestals for your home.

THE PROCESS:- All completed taxidermy pedestals are pressure washed to remove the bark, sandblasted to clean out the crevices and hard to reach areas, power sanded to remove the aged and scratched surface, hand sanded for a smooth artistic finish, 4 coats of a hand rubbed oil finish and then a finishing/reconditioning oil applied before shipping. Our goal is to bring out the beauty in the pedestals and to keep all coloring, shape and contours in their natural state.


RETURNS: We accept all returns within 7 days of your purchase, the item MUST be in the exact condition as when you purchased it. We will refund the purchase price. Shipping, handles and packing fees are not refunded. Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
